Questions buyers usually ask

Revit automation FAQ

What is Revit automation?

Revit automation means using scripts or plugins to do repetitive Revit work: creating sheets and views, renumbering, exporting, filling parameters and checking models. The main tools are Dynamo, pyRevit and C# add-ins built on the Revit API.

How much does Revit automation cost?

A fixed-price pilot that automates one task costs $750 to $1,500. A custom C# Revit plugin costs $4,000 to $15,000. A model health check is $500 per model. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. See pricing.

Do we own the code?

Work made only for you is assigned to you in writing once paid in full, and you get the full source code. See Security & IP.

Which Revit versions do you support?

Revit 2024 to 2027, and 2023 on request, with one build per .NET runtime. See Revit 2027 add-in migration.

Does it work with Revit LT?

No. Revit LT doesn't run add-ins or Dynamo. You need full Revit or the AEC Collection.

Can you work with our team outside the US?

Yes. We're a remote company and work with teams in the US, UK, Europe, Australia and India. Prices are in US dollars.
