Browser demos · sample data · not client work

Try the rules our Revit tools apply.

Three small demos that run in your browser and apply the same logic our tools for Autodesk® Revit® software apply inside the model: numbering racks to a scheme, checking A/B power feeds against a one-line list, and building a sheet list for every data hall. Change the inputs and watch the checks respond.

Everything runs on your own computer. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

1. Rack rows & IDs

Problem
Hundreds of racks per data hall get placed and numbered by hand, then renumbered after every layout change.
Revit tool
Places rack families by row from a table or your rules, writes each rack's ID to a parameter in your scheme, and flags duplicate IDs and spacing below the clearances you set. It shows a preview first and runs inside a transaction you can undo.
Try it
Change any input. The plan, the ID list and the duplicate check update as you type.

ID pattern: hall-row-position, for example DH1-A-01

The plan appears here when JavaScript is on.

2. A/B feed check

Problem
Where the electrical design feeds each rack from two independent power paths (A and B), the model has to match the one-line diagram. When the two are kept in sync by hand, missing feeds, swapped feeds and sources that don't exist slip through.
Revit tool
Reads your one-line equipment list from Excel or CSV, compares it with the feed parameters on every rack, RPP and PDU in the model, writes a pass/fail result to each rack, and can color views by path. It checks data against your list. It doesn't design or size anything.
Try it
The sample has mistakes on purpose. Press Run check, then edit any cell or the one-line list and run it again.

One-line equipment list (sample)

In a real project this list comes from the electrical engineer's one-line diagram, usually as an Excel export. Path A sources should only feed A, and path B sources only B.

Press Run check to compare the 8 racks with the one-line list.

3. Sheet list builder

Problem
Every data hall needs the same set of sheets in every discipline, and every building on a campus repeats them. Setting up and numbering hundreds of sheets by hand takes days and invites mistakes.
Revit tool
Builds the sheet list from your rules or an Excel list, then creates the sheets, views and title block data in the model with your view templates and naming. It previews the list first and flags duplicate sheet numbers before anything is created.
Try it
Pick the buildings, halls and disciplines, then change the sheet-number pattern. Remove {B} from the pattern to see the duplicate check catch a clash across buildings.
Disciplines

Pattern codes: {B} building number, {D} discipline, {H} hall number (0 for building-level sheets), {NN} two-digit sheet sequence. Disciplines: A architectural, E electrical, M mechanical, FP fire protection, T telecommunications.

What these demos show and don't.

What they show

  • The rules behind three common data center tasks: an ID scheme, an A/B feed check and a sheet-number pattern
  • The checks our tools run before they write anything: duplicates, missing values, and items that aren't in the source list
  • The kind of result you get: a clear pass/fail list your team can act on, not a score
  • How a small change to a rule (a prefix, a pattern, a start number) flows through everything at once

What they don't show

  • Revit software itself. These run in your browser, not in a Revit model. The Revit tools work through the Revit API, show a preview before bulk edits and run inside transactions you can undo.
  • Client work. The sample data was made up for this page. It doesn't come from Autodesk sample files or any client project.
  • Time savings. We don't publish savings figures. Use the payback calculator with your own numbers instead.
  • Engineering. Our tools apply rules and values that your engineer of record provides. Their outputs are drafting and data aids, not engineering calculations, code-compliance reviews or sealed documents. Your licensed professionals review the results and remain responsible for the design.
  • Full complexity. Real projects add busway, PDUs, UPS systems, many halls per one-line diagram and owner-specific ID rules. We scope those with you.

Recorded demos

Recorded Revit demos will be added as they're published. Each one will be labeled as a demo on our own sample model, with the conditions listed.

From demo to your standard

Want one of these for your own scheme?

We recommend starting with a fixed-price pilot: one task, built to your ID scheme or sheet standard, tested on your Revit version.

  1. Scoping call

Show us your ID scheme, one-line list or sheet standard, and how the task is done today.

    30 min · free
  2. Written scope

Deliverables, a written acceptance test, a fixed price and a date.

    within 2 business days
  3. Pilot build

A Dynamo, pyRevit or small C# tool for one task, with a weekly demo.

    est. 1–2 weeks · $750–$1,500
  4. Acceptance test

You run the test on a copy of your model. If it doesn't pass, we fix it at no charge.

at the end of the pilot

Pilot guarantee. If the pilot doesn't pass the written acceptance test on the agreed Revit version, we fix it at no charge. If it still doesn't pass within 10 business days of your test report, we refund the pilot fee in full. This doesn't cover changes to the scope, the test model or the Revit version after the scope is signed.

Free 30-minute scoping call

Have a rule your team applies by hand on every hall?

Tell us about it. Within 2 business days of the call you get a written scope with a fixed price for a pilot or first phase, and an estimate range for anything bigger.
